 Nirmal Purja, also known as "Nimsdai," is a Nepalese mountaineer and former Gurkha soldier who has gained worldwide recognition for his incredible achievements in the field of mountaineering. Nirmal Purja was born on July 25, 1983, in Dhaulagiri, a remote village in Nepal. He joined the British Army's Gurkha regiment at the age of 18 and served for 16 years, rising to the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1. In 2019, Nirmal Purja embarked on an ambitious project called "Bremont Project Possible," with the aim of climbing all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in just 7 months, which was considered an unprecedented feat in the mountaineering world. He completed the project successfully in just over 6 months, setting a new world record and earning global recognition for his incredible accomplishment.
